Private Swim or Dive Lesson Requests

This is only a request and does not guarantee that an instructor is available for your swim lesson. Please do not purchase private lessons until an instructor reaches out and confirms a schedule with you.

Your request is added to the queue and if an instructor has the same availability that you requested, that instructor will call you.

We apologize for any prolonged waiting period before you are contacted. Many of our instructors have school commitments (high school or university) and are unable to teach during particular time frames. Because of this, we appreciate your patience in this process of matching you with an instructor.

Private Lessons that we are not able to match with an instructor will be deleted after 3 months.

Cancellation Policies - Private and semi-private swim or dive classes

In order to make private swim lessons a positive experience for everyone (both patron and instructor alike), we ask that you observe the following policies if your lesson is picked up by an instructor:

1. Before each class, an individual session or a bulk purchase (2-6) must be purchased prior to the first scheduled session. Note: Please allow enough time prior to your lesson, at least 10 minutes, to check in with the front desk each class and ask for a receipt that shows you have checked-in. This includes checking in a bulk purchase (2-6) each time you visit. This receipt is to be given to the swim instructor before each swim class starts.

2. Swim instructors cannot take session payments. Please pay for individual sessions or a bulk purchase (2-6) at the Recreation Center Front Desk or through Registration by calling 303-774-4700.

3. If you are late, the session will only last until the end of the 30 minute or 45 minute time block for which that session was originally scheduled.

4. If you cannot make a class, it must be rescheduled 24 hours in advance directly with the instructor or it will be forfeited and your bulk purchase (2-6) pass will be swiped or your account charged.

Centennial Pool - 1201 Alpine St., Longmont, CO 80504

Sunset Pool - 1900 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont, CO 80501 (summer only – June through August)
